Along with our regular monthly meeting, two of our very own members Mark Fohl and Dick Wood will give a presentation on “The Central Role of Value”. Values, the lights and darks of an artwork, are crucial to creating a sense of three-dimensions and to making a focal point prominent. Mark Fohl and Dick Wood, who have long worked in black-and-white photography, will discuss the importance of value in all visual arts by referring to the pictures they have made.
