Louise Captein, Associate Professor in the Art Department at Otterbein University, will give a presentation on the principles of color. She is an oil painter of semi-abstract works and a paper collage artist. An MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago, she teaches courses on drawing, painting, and color principles

Last year’s “show, tell, and discus” meeting was so successful we are doing it again this year. CAW members will be encouraged to bring art—completed or in progress— to the meeting where, in small groups, we can share with each other techniques, solutions, and sources of inspiration. It’s a great way to meet fellow artists

Janelle Hallett is a fiber artist and jewelry designer who makes wall hangings, baskets, and earrings. Music is one source of her creativity and she will discuss this and the processes she uses when working in fiber at her presentation
